This ★★★★★ comedy/drama play is about the millennial angst of growing up before your time, or your young persons railcard expires is by Yolanda Mercy and published with Bloomsbury Books.It was also adapted for a special production on radio and broadcasted with BBC Radio 1xtra (aired 2nd April 2018).

BBW
Is Yolanda's debut writing project for TV. BBW aired on Channel 4 as an original single comedy/ drama by Yolanda Mercy, and explores life as a plus size woman trying to find her voice in a world where everyone thinks they know what is best for her. This piece secured Yolanda her first nominations at BAFTA , Broadcast Award and Writers Guild Awards. She also won the Edinburgh TV festival Debut writers award.

Queenie
Alongside creating her own work for stage and screen, Yolanda has written and contributed to TV shows and films within the UK and internationally. One of her TV credits includes the hit book Queenie by Candice Carty- Williams. Yolanda was part of the Season 1 writers room, and wrote an
episode for the show which aired on Channel 4 and Disney/Hulu.

On The Edge Of Me
On The Edge of Me is an Award winning show which was created with the support of Soho theatre, The Rich Mix and Arts Council England. This thought provoking show, was Yolanda's debut production fusing live music, audience participation, spoken word and storytelling to explore mental health issues (Anxiety/Depression) and Graduate unemployment.

World of Curls
Yolanda's passion for stories extended into other creative mediums, and saw her land her directorial debut with the BBC Radio 4 audio project World of Curls. World of curls was co- written and directed by Yolanda Mercy and Jade Lewis. Set within a hair salon in Peckham, World of Curls was a gripping audio drama which explored the lives of the hairdressers whose secrets were being concealed within the salon's walls.
