Yolanda Mercy is a London based Actor and Playwright who trained at the Brit School, Laban and Central School of Speech and Drama. She was named Artist to Watch 2017 by the British Council, an Associate Artist at OvalHouse Theatre, part of the BBC Writersroom and her writing has also been featured in Huffington Post. Her ★★★★★ productions have been described as "relatable, funny and very honest". Comedy, spoken word, live music and audience participation are the key ingredients that make up her unforgettable shows.

Varied commissions and support include: Platonov Arts Festival (Russia), Arts Council England, Peggy Ramsay Foundation, The British Council, Underbelly, 02 Think Big, Soho Theatre and many more.

 

Yolanda's attributtes allow her to mentor and coach through her pioneering project Development Lab, private bookings, panel discussions and workshops. She is a trained facilitator who has the ability to work with a variety of people.
